Hi there Alan! You might like to give the following connections a whirl:
ARCHIMEDES PC
(9-pin) (25-pin)
PIN PIN
.---1
| 2---------------------2
| 3---------------------3
|---4---------------------20--.
| 5---------------------7 |
| 6---------------------4 |
| 7---------------------5 |
`---8 |
9---------------------8---'
(NB join pins 1,4,8 on the arc connector and 20,8 on the PC connector)
If you are wanting a 9 pin Arc to 9 pin PC link, I can give you that as well if
you would like it.

Wellllll ... I have my BBS (PS/2) COM port #3 linked to my arc (A3000)
permanently and it works beautifully for me!
Hope this helps!
Edward
